“I'm driven to capture vivid reminders that, in this hustle and bustle, bad news world, there’s still beauty and wonder to be found."

John Robichaud began his photographic journey as an award-winning natural history filmmaker and cinematographer producing and directing documentary films for broadcast on PBS, Discovery Channel and other networks around the globe.

His 15 years of experience in the field, observing and exposing nature’s beauty on motion picture film, helped to develop his unique “eye” for seeing unique composition and light.  Today he brings his reverent appreciation and love of the natural world to his dramatic fine art photography.  John divides the year between his photographic travels abroad and time capturing the beauty of the hills, forests and shores of his home in the wine country of Nova Scotia’s pastoral Annapolis Valley.
